Knee Arthroscopy and Meniscal Injury
Commonly known as “keyhole” surgery, arthroscopy is the bedrock of Rahul’s surgical work. Meniscal injuries don’t always need surgery, but when they do, Rahul will strive to preserve your meniscus.
Vital to sportsmen and women, the ACL is commonly injured during sport and most will need to undergo surgery to ensure they can return to doing what they love.
Arthritis is a debilitating condition and can affect your quality of life significantly. Although not the first treatment Rahul turns to for this condition, replacing part or all of your knee is often the definitive solution to improving function and abolishing pain.
Commonly used by specialists in this field to treat non-arthritic conditions of the hip. Femoroacetabular impingement (FAI) is the most frequent problem requiring this solution.
Multi-ligament injuries of the knee are serious injuries where more than one of the following structures are damaged (ruptured, partially ruptured/torn, strained) at the same time.
This is a condition where the patella (kneecap) repeatedly slips out of position fully (dislocation) or partially (subluxation). This normally happens towards the outside of the knee (laterally).
Robotic arm assietd Uni-compartmental Knee Replacement
Uni-compartmental or uni-condylar knee replacement is where only one part of the knee is replaced. It used to treat arthritis (wearing away of the smooth articular cartilage).
